Blood Drive
The Senior Class Council will be sponsoring the last blood drive of the year. There is currently a large shortage of blood supply in the Chicago area, so your donations would be greatly appreciated. The blood drive will take place on Wednesday, May 28 in the auditorium all day. You will be excused for the period you are donating. If you are sixteen, please pick up a consent form in the student activity center. Help save a life!
Congratulations
Congratulations to Boys’ Volleyball for winning their Regional Championship over Chicago Latin School by scores of 25-19, 25-14. The team advances to Sectional semifinals tomorrow tonight a 6:30 p.m. at St. Ignatius. A win tonight would put them in the Sectional Finals on Tuesday, May 27 at 7pm at St. Ignatius. A win on Tuesday night means a trip downstate on Friday, May 30. Good luck Huskies Volleyball!
Frisbee Tournament
Dudes Makin' a Difference is sponsoring an eight-team ultimate Frisbee tournament on Saturday, May 31 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the south athletic fields. Teams can sign up in the Student Activity Center for $3 per player. The money will support our sponsored students in Nepal. Only eight teams can sign up, so register quickly.
All Library Books are due back Today
Any remaining books that are out may be billed to your account as an obligation. Any obligation may cause you to be unable to graduate or to register for next year. Any questions? Come see Mrs. Shipley in the 3rd floor library.
Memorial Day Stars
Do you have a relative who is a veteran? Then stop by the Crest in the Student Center and make them a Memorial Star that will then be hung in the Student Center. Honor your veteran!
Newscene LIVE
Do you want to be on TV? Newscene live is holding auditions for anchors and producers for next year. If you would like to audition, please see Mr. Condne in the TV Studio, Room 398.
Peru Trip Participants
There will be a mandatory meeting in Room 384 on Tuesday, May 27 at 3:10 p.m. Please come on time as there will be a guest speaker and we will be making final arrangements for our trip. See you there!
Yearbooks are Here!
Pick up your pre-ordered yearbook in the Student Center Tuesday, May 26 through Thursday, May 28. Yearbooks will be handed out AFTER 8th period on those days. No books will go out before that time. You will need your student I.D. or Driver's License to prove our identity. No I.D., no book. If you didn't pre-order a yearbook, you can sign up for the lottery for a chance to purchase an extra book Friday after school. So if you didn't order one, and want one, get to the Student Center A.S.A.P. during regular distribution for a chance to buy a 2007-2008 TABULA!

B.O.S.S. Organization
The last meeting of the B.O.S.S. Club for this school year is today during periods 4 & 6 in Room 430. Swearing in of Executive Committee's officers, farewell remarks, and awarding of plaques are on schedule. Come out and say "goodbye" to senior members. All members are requested to attend.
Interested in tryout out for OPRF Drill Team?
There will be an informational meeting for students interested in trying out for the Drill Team held on May 28 in Room 363 at 3:15 p.m. There will be information on requirements and the schedule for tryouts. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Neuman in Room 487.

The Boys Volleyball team plays in the IHSA Sectional tonight at 6:30PM at St. Ignatius
The Baseball team plays in the IHSA Regional Championship on Saturday at 1:00PM at OPRF
The Softball team plays in the IHSA Regional Championship on Saturday at 2:00PM at Fenwick
Boys Tennis and Boys Track compete in their State Championship Meets on Friday and Saturday
Girls Track and Field Team Members
Remember to bring a treat to share, and a small gift for your sister teammate to Awards Night on May 30. We will wear white, black, and a dash of red. See you soon!

OPRF will be holding its inaugural end of the year Softball tournament on May 30 and 31. Pick up your informational sheet in Room 174 today. The Registration deadline to sign your team up is May 28. Space is limited so sign up today.
