Important Announcement for Juniors and Seniors about new ESPN Zone Offering…
Many of you asked about the possibility of going
to ESPN, even if not going to Prom. Well now you can, we are selling tickets for JUNIORS AND SENIORS ONLY to go to ESPN for $25.00 - a bargain! Busses will leave OPRF at 11:00 p.m. to take you downtown for games galore, food, and dancing with DJ Wojo. Gather your friends, buy a ticket, and join your prom going friends at ESPN. Tickets will be sold this week before and after school.
Quilt Rock: Concert for a Cure
May 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the 1 East Gym come to the Quilt Rock see a piece of the Aids Quilt and listen to student band performances. The project is sponsored to assist world AIDS by the Students for Peace and Justice.
MADE
Do you want to be MADE? MTV will be here today after school in the Student Activity Center, Room 174 from 3:15 – 5:15 p.m. for a casting call. You will need parent permission and a photo. Pick up an information packet in the Student Center.
CLUB CORNER
Best Buddies
Come to the Best Prom this Saturday from 7-9 p.m. in the Student Center. See you there, everyone is welcome. Also, now is your
chance to interview to be an officer for next year. We are looking for freshmen and sophomores to take a leadership role. Please see Mrs. Schoenbeck or Mrs. Crane to pick up an application and schedule an interview.

FCA (a non school sponsored club) will be reading the account of Daniel. We will meet this Friday morning at 7:30 a.m. in Room 246. All are welcomed. (F. Arriaga)

The final tournament of the year is next Tuesday, May 13 in the 2nd East Gym starting at 3:20 p.m. Everyone is invited to participate. Questions see Mr. Colquhoun in Room 212.

Scholarship Bulletin #15 is now available! Get your copy today - available in the Counselors' Offices (Rooms 207/208) or on the OPRF website. Included on this bulletin is the Golden Apple Scholars Award, open to juniors interested in pursuing career in teaching.
ACT Test
The ACT Test is being administered at OPRFHS on June 14, 2008. Deadline to register is May 9, 2008. Pick-up a registration packet in the counselor's offices or apply on-line.

Please log onto Naviance and complete the Graduation Survey as soon as possible, so we know your post-graduation plans and where to send your final transcript. It's an easy, three step process! Should you have any questions regarding your Naviance account, please see Mrs. Asbury in the Counselors' Office Room 207 or your Counselor.
Independent Study for Fall Semester
Applications for independent study for the fall 2008 semester are now available in Room 373. Deadline to submit is September 5, early in the fall semester.
