Congratulations to OPRF German students, Patrick Clardy for his 3rd place trophy in essay composition and delivery and to the skit team, Stefan Scherer-Emunds, Jonathan Libgober, Tom Sullivan, Evangelie Zachos, Maggie VanderMolen, Claire Pedersen, Natalie Greene, and Nicholas House for capturing the 1st place skit trophy at the annual University of Illinois German Day competition.
Paddy Grams for sale!
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day! The Senior Council will be selling Paddy Grams next week on Tuesday and Wednesday during lunch periods in front of the Student Center. The cost is 25 cents. You need to know the 2nd period teacher's name of the person you will be sending the Paddy Gram to.
Summer Field Marine Biology-Florida
See you all at the parent and student meeting Thursday, March 13 at 6:00 p.m. in Room 287. The meeting is mandatory. There are still two spots available for any students interested in participating in this amazing course.
Want to work at Six Flags Great America?
Six Flags Great America in Gurnee will be here on March 18 and March 19 for on-site interviews. If enough Oak Park and River Forest Students are hired they will provide transportation to and from great America for a minimal fee. If you are interested in summer work please come down to Room 174 to add your name to the interview list before next Friday - March 14. You will also have to fill out an on-line application before March 17. Go to Sixflags.com Click on Jobs and then apply on line. You must be 16 by March 17. (T. Domanchuk)
