Congratulation Debate Team
Congratulations to the nationally renowned OPRF Debate Team for its recent successes. Freshmen James Hanley and Will Hardwicke unanimously won the University of California Berkeley Debate Tournament, an amazing feat for 1st year debaters. UC Berkeley hosts one of the nation’s most prestigious debate tournaments and OPRF were well represented. Also congratulations to Misha Slavin, John Libgober, Scott Marchi and Adam Pearce.
Congratulations Orchesis Dance Company
Carolina Merchen's dance, "Senioritus" has been chosen to represent OPRFHS at the Illinois High School Dance Festival in May. This is a huge honor for Carolina and her dancers! Good luck!
Empty Bowls
Empty Bowls T-shirts designed by student Aviva Einhorn are for sale prior to the Empty Bowls dinner in Room 390 today and Friday. Buy one early for only $10.00 so you can have it for the dinner!
Summer Job Fair
Thinking of a summer job? Now is the time to start looking. Come to the Student Center during all lunch periods today. Representatives from all the local park districts, Brookfield Zoo, West Suburban Recreational Center, Cub/Sox and others will be taking applications. (T. Domanchuk)

Join us for the 5th Annual Empty Bowls Community Dinner tomorrow night from 6-8 p.m. Bring your family, friends, team or club and have some delicious soup while donating money to PADS, the food pantry and global alliance for Africa. Held in the Student Center and South Cafeteria. $15 for adults and $10 for children and students with ID.

Joseph and the Multicolor Coat

Registration for Advanced Placement Exams is this week. Forms have been distributed in AP classes. Bring completed forms to the Bookstore to pay fees for exams. The registration period runs through February 29. Please register as soon as possible. (F. Galluzzo)

Attention next year's seniors: Applications for the Senior Instructional Leadership Corps (SILC) for the 2008 - 2009 school year are now available. Pick up the program overview and application in Room 373. Deadline to submit your application is March 7, 2008. (Ms. Hill)

There will be a mandatory meeting today at 3:15 p.m. in the Monogram Room for all levels. Please be sure to turn in your permission form and physical to the Athletic Office before Monday’s tryouts.
Boys’ Basketball
The Huskies play Lyons Township tomorrow night at Lyons Township at 7:30 p.m. The West Suburban Conference title is on the line. Come join the Dog Pound at LT and cheer the Huskies to victory and another conference championship.
Boys’ Lacrosse Tryouts (Ganschow)
All level tryouts will start with a meeting in Room 371 on Monday, February 25 at 3:15 p.m. Be sure you have submitted all paperwork to the AD's office AND bring your blue card with you to the meeting. Bring running shoes and athletic wear for both indoor and/or outdoor workouts. No lax gear needed on Monday. DO NOT BE LATE.

Reminder that open nets are Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6-7:30 a.m. in the 3rd floor South Gyms.

If you’re interested in playing Football this fall there will an important meeting tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m. in the Monogram Room. Everyone will receive a schedule to follow throughout the spring and into summer.
Girls’ Soccer
Tryouts start Monday, February 25, please meet in the South Café at 3:12 p.m. promptly. Questions, see Coach Wright in Room 274 ASAP.
Spring Sports Registration
Try-outs for Spring Sports begins on February 25. Any student interested in trying out for a spring sport must turn in an Athletic Participation Form to the Athletic Department by tomorrow. Students must also have a Physical Exam on file with the school which is current through the end of the Spring Season. Try out information for all Spring Sports is available outside the Athletic Department.

There is a mandatory meeting Wednesday, February 27 in the Monogram room at 7 a.m. We will discuss off-season training, fundraising, and conclude with a discussion on how awesome Coach Powell is. If you cannot attend the meeting see Coach Powell in Room 483.
