Relay for Life of Oak Park/River Forest - April 28 & 29 at Concordia University
Get involved in the fight against cancer! Help with the American Cancer Society's signature fundraising event in our community, when teams of people take turns walking around the track during 12 hours of music, food and camaraderie to raise awareness for cancer research and cures. All ages can get involved in a variety of ways by forming a team, joining the planning committee, inviting a survivor to attend, raising money or volunteering to help the days of the event. Our community’s annual CROP WALK, a 10K walk to generate funds to help alleviate hunger & provide safe drinking water in the world will be the 23rd annual walk in our community that to date has generated a total of $681,000 with $170,000 of that going to local agencies including the OP/RF Food Pantry.
