The Alumni Association of Oak Park & River Forest High School was organized in 2002 by a group of local alumni for the benefit of both former and current students. Our goal is to provide opportunities for ALUMNI to maintain and enhance connections with their classmates and the OPRFHS community.
We depend entirely on tax-deductible membership CONTRIBUTIONS and other donations from the community to fund our operations. These include a NEWSLETTER mailed to our donor members three times per year and FINANCIAL AID through our Summer Enrichment Grants to current high school students to help them participate in a wide variety of educational enrichment programs.

HOMECOMING and REUNIONS
For those planning ahead - HOMECOMING 2008 will be Saturday, OCTOBER 4th including activities such as a community PANCAKE Breakfast, TOURS of the school, the Homecoming PARADE, and the Alumni LUNCH Social on the mall with entertainment and activities for kids, followed by the FOOTBALL game (varsity begins at 1:30 pm vs. Morton West) Call the Alumni Office (708) 434-3281 for more information. If you're interested working on a reunion committee or know of a reunion in the works, please get in touch.
1998 - A 10 year reunion is planned for SAT, OCTOBER 4 . The day will include events at the school - the Pancake Breakfast, School Tours, Alumni & Family Lunch and the varsity football game - plus an evening celebration with food, drinks and plenty of fun at FIZZ Bar and Grill, 3220 N. Lincoln, Chicago. The cost is $50 per person including food served at 8 PM and open bar from 9-midnight. Advance reservations are required - send your $50 check or money order payable to "OPRFClass of 1998" to OPRF Class of 98, P.O. Box 440535, Chicago, IL 60644 BEFORE September 4. The committee includes Emily Johnson, Courtney Dohman, Charlotte Adams, Karen Kramer, Derik Hines, Tim Caronti and others. 1988 - There's a 20 year reunion planned for SATURDAY, OCT 4 at FITZGERALD'S in Berwyn. The committee would like to hear from others interested in the reunion - you can contact Karen Mullarkey Kerrins by e-mail at karenmullarkeykerrins@yahoo.com or call the Alumni Office.
1983 - It's been 25 years there's going to be a reunion SATURDAY, OCT 4 over Homecoming. Rob Teinowitz, Karen Stoelinga and others are making plans to celebrate that milestone. Visit their website at www.oprf83.org or contact the Alumni Association.
1978 - Come celebrate a 30 year reunion on Saturday, OCT 11 (Columbus weekend) at THE BARN in Willowbrook. Cost is $60 per person (by Sept 1) or $75 at the door and includes buffet dinner and beer/wine/soda. 1968 - Kathy Sullivan and other '68 grads are planning a 40 year reunion to be held over Homecoming Weekend, OCT 3 -4. Events will include casual Friday evening receptions at both Kevils and Goldyburgers in Forest Park (both owned by '68 grads) and the Pancake Breakfast, School Tours, Alumni Lunch and Football game events at the high school on Saturday. Reunions Unlimited is helping plan a Saturday evening event at Riverside Golf Club at 7:00 PM. 1959 - A 50th anniversary reunion celebration is in the works to take place over Homecoming 2009 in October 2009.
1969 - Lynn Stewart Ryan and other '69ers are planning a casual 40th Reunion for 2009. We will post additional information when available, in the meantime please contact the Alumni Office and we can put you in touch with Lynn.
