Directions

Main Entrance is located 201 North Scoville Avenue
(Middle of the building, at Scoville and Ontario)

Scoville Avenue is a one-way street going south.
Parking is a CHALLENGE.
There is no guest parking, only restricted parking around the high school.
Parking restrictions posted around the high school vary and are strictly enforced.
Please read the signs carefully.

Bicycle racks are available in the back of the building on the East Avenue Mall.

From downtown Chicago and the Loop:

By Automobile/Taxi, there are two expressway exits you may choose:

1. Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) west, to Austin Boulevard. Exit from the left. Turn right (north) onto Austin Boulevard. Travel about 1 mile, just past the overhead "L" tracks, and turn left onto Lake Street. Go west on Lake Street to Ridgeland Avenue (3 stop lights). Turn right onto Ridgeland Avenue and go 3 blocks north to Superior Street. Turn left, go to Scoville Avenue (2 blocks). Turn left on Scoville (south) and look for parking.

2. Take the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) west, to Harlem Avenue. Exit from the left. Turn right (north) onto Harlem Avenue about 1 mile, past the overhead "L" tracks, to Lake Street. (The Gap store is on the corner). Go east on Lake Street to Oak Park Avenue. Turn left onto Oak Park Avenue and go 3 blocks north to Superior Street. Turn right on Superior and go 4 blocks to Scoville Avenue. Turn right and look for parking.

By Public Transportation

Metra
From the north Loop take the Metra Union Pacific West Line Train (Chicago to Geneva Route) to the Harlem/Marion station. Then walk 1 block north to Lake St. Turn right, continue walking east past Oak Park Ave. (approx. 10 blocks) to Scoville, turn left (north) and go to main door of the high school.

CTA
Take the Harlem/Lake Green Line to Ridgeland Avenue. Turn right, walk one block north to Lake Street. Turn left on Lake Street. and walk 2 blocks to Scoville Avenue. Turn right and walk north to main entrance of the high school.

From O’Hare Airport:

By Automobile/Taxi
Leave the airport on the expressway (I-90) then turn right onto River Road and head south about 9 miles to North Avenue (Route 64). At North Avenue, turn left (east), and go to Oak Park Avenue, turn right (south). Continue south on Oak Park Avenue to Superior Street (approximately 1 ½ mile). Turn left onto Superior and go 4 blocks to Scoville. Turn right onto Scoville and look for parking.

By Public Transportation, (If you do not wish to transfer downtown)

CTA
Go to the station underneath the baggage area and take the Congress Blue Line. It is IMPORTANT to take the "Congress L" and not a Douglas train. The "Congress L" goes directly to Oak Park. Exit at the Oak Park Avenue station. Turn right (north), walk one block to Lake Street. At Lake Street turn right and proceed 3 blocks north to Scoville Avenue. Turn left at Scoville and go to main entrance of the high school

In the Loop transfer from the Congress Blue Line to the Harlem/Lake Green Line and exit at Ridgeland Avenue. Walk north (right) one block to Lake Street. At Lake Street turn left and walk to Scoville Avenue. Turn right and walk to the main entrance of the high school.

From Midway Airport:

By Automobile/Taxi, take Cicero Ave. north to Roosevelt Road, turn left on Roosevelt Road and travel about 2 miles to Ridgeland Avenue. Turn right (north) onto Ridgeland Avenue, and proceed north to Superior Street. (3 blocks north of Lake Street), turn left, go to Scoville. Turn left again (south) and look for parking.

By Public Transportation

CTA
Take the Midway/Orange Line to the loop and transfer to the Harlem/Lake Green Line. Exit at the Ridgeland Avenue station. Walk north (right) under the overhead tracks to Lake Street. On Lake Street turn left and walk 2 blocks to Scoville Avenue. Turn right and walk to main entrance of the high school.

From the Western Suburbs:

By Automobile/Taxi--From most locations take either the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) or the I-88 extension to I-290. Exit from the left lane onto Harlem Ave. Turn left (north) onto Harlem Ave. for about 1 mile, past the overhead "L" tracks to Lake St. Turn right onto Lake St. (Gap store is on the corner). Go east on Lake St. to Oak Park Ave. Turn left on Oak Park Ave. and go north to Superior St. Turn right on Superior and go 4 blocks to Scoville Ave. Turn right and look for parking.

From Evanston and the North side of Chicago:

By Automobile/Taxi
1. Take the Edens/Kennedy Expressway south to the Eisenhower Expressway (I-290) junction. Take a right onto the Eisenhower and proceed west about 10 miles to Austin Boulevard. Exit from the left lane. Turn right (north) on Austin Boulevard. Go 1 mile (past overhead "L" tracks, and turn left onto Lake Street. Going west on Lake Street, take a right on Ridgeland Avenue and proceed to Superior Street. Turn left and go to Scoville Avenue. Turn left on Scoville and look for parking.

2. An alternate route is to take Cicero Avenue (US 41) south to North Avenue. Take a right on North Avenue (west) and proceed to Oak Park Avenue take a left (south ) to Superior Street. Turn left on Superior Street (east) and go 4 blocks to Scoville Avenue. Turn right on Scoville and look for parking.

By Public Transportation

CTA
Take the appropriate CTA line to the Loop and transfer to the Harlem/Lake Green Line. Proceed to the Ridgeland Avenue station and exit. Walk right (north) 1 block to Lake Street. Turn left on Lake Street and walk 2 blocks to Scoville Avenue. Turn right (north) and walk to main entrance of the high school
